Accredidation: "rolling admissions" policy governs most City University of Seattle Online programs. The university will accept applications and announce admissions decisions continually throughout the year. Most degree programs may commence at any given quarter


Credit Options: Academic credit and advanced standing granted toward degrees for appropriate courses satisfactorily completed as evaluated by the American Council on Education and other agencies; and by evaluation of prior experiential learning at a post-secondary level.

  • Tech Requirements  At CityU of Seattle, your online education experience takes place in a virtual classroom environment called "Blackboard." You log in from any internet connection to get assignments, discuss topics, work on team projects, and check your grades.
  • Admin Requirements  Complete an application with a $50 non-refundable fee upon confirmation of application receipt by an Admissions Advisor. If mailing a paper application form, please include the fee with completed application. Request transcripts from all institutions and have them sent to City University of Seattle Registrar's Office. Submit proof of English proficiency, if applicable. For programs that require additional Admissions documents, as listed on the program pages, please contact an Admissions Advisor
  • Costs  The average cost per credit is $367.
  • Scholarships  City University of Seattle Online scholarships are awarded in the spring of each year to students attending the University the following summer.
  • Loans  A student is eligible to receive Federal Student Financial Aid (SFA) program funds for Distance Learning courses provided the course is part of a program leading to an associate, bachelors, graduate, or professional degree
