Description: To lead successfully in today’s business world, you need to know the nuances of business and how they interact with the most advanced innovations in technology. The Master of Science in Management and Systems is a unique interdisciplinary program designed to give you a solid understanding of traditional business, as well as leading-edge knowledge of information technologies, to enable you to effectively manage in today's challenging global business environment. Building on NYU’s reputation as a proven pioneer in online learning, you have the option to take courses online, on-site, or through a combination of these formats

Total Enrollment:

Accredidation: We have 6 sessions per year. Each session consists of 6 week immersion courses that cover the same material as 12 to 14 week courses, but with a more focused time frame that is designed for busy professionals


Credit Options: Graduate students can receive up to 6 credits for worked completed satisfactory at another regionally accredited college or university.

Platform: Completely interactive live weekly lectures via VoIP. Lectures are archived for students whose work schedules do not permit live participation. Weekly team and individual assignments are via web chats, forums, e-mails and additional live, VoIP meetings.

Geographies: US only

On Campus Requirements: No on-campus time is required. Application through graduation can be done online, plus phone and mail. However, all events, from class dinners to discounted Broadway tickets and executive networking are available to those accessible to the New York area.

  • Tech Requirements  You should have access to a PC with Internet Explorer 5.0 or greater or Netscape 7.1 or greater. A headset with microphone will be supplied by NYU.
  • Admin Requirements  Start with a faculty interview. If your qualifications and objectives fit our programs, you will go to admissions for an official application. We have rolling admissions and 6 sessions per year.
  • Costs  Tuition for the 2007–08 academic year is $1,266 per credit plus fees. Fees vary somewhat by program.
  • Scholarships  The School of Continuing and Professional Studies offers fellowships and merit scholarships. Financial Aid is based on academic ability and/or financial need. Applicants who are considering programs within the School should complete the FAFSA form.
  • Loans  The federal government and/or private banks offer loans to NYU students. To determine eligibility, you must complete the Federal Application for Free Financial Aid (FAFSA) form.
