Credit Options: A maximum of 9 credits may be accepted as transfer credits, if approved by the student’s department/program. Credits transferred must be from graduate courses taken elsewhere, as long as those courses were taken after the undergraduate degree, not used to satisfy the graduation requirements for any undergraduate degree, and had a grade of B or better

Platform: Online, e-mail, Q & A chat boards, some synchronous and some asynchronous

  • Tech Requirements  eNYU-Poly recommends that online students have access to a computer 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Computers available at work, at a library, or other public areas may prohibit your login times, download capabilities, or even have firewalls that prevent you from getting to your course. You will also need the ability to save or store documents. Registered NYU-Poly students are provided an email account. An internet connection. You may need MS office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). You should also have the following free downloads Adobe Acrobat Reader, RealPlayer, MacroMedia Flash Player, and Java. Your instructor will indicate if you need to purchase or download additional software in order to participate effectively in online courses.
  • Admin Requirements  Admission to the Graduate programs requires an application fee of $50, official transcripts, 2 letters of recommendation, statement of interest, resume, GRE/GMAT test scores
  • Costs  $1027 per credit
  • Scholarships  Polytechnic Institute of NYU offers a wide range of institutionally funded grants and scholarships. Eligibility for academic scholarships are determined at the time you enter the university based upon your academic credentials
