As a trendsetting provider of career relevant art and design undergraduate, graduate and certificate programs, SCAD offers online programs of study are an extension of the high-quality academic programs and services offered on the ground.
Total Enrollment:
Accredidation: SCAD eLearning courses follow a 10-week quarter system. Courses are partially asynchronous which means that while there are definite start and end dates each quarter, there are no specific times for students to login to their courses.

Credit Options: SCAD accepts credit from various sources. It varies by program.
Platform: SCAD eLearning courses are delivered in a fully online, asynchronous format. Courses consist of ten units with content in a text and graphic format, discussion forums, assessments, readings and project assignments
Geographies: There are no geographic restrictions to enroll as a fully online student at SCAD
On Campus Requirements: While SCAD e-Learning students may elect to enroll in on-campus courses, fully online students are not required to study on campus

- Scholarships The college administers a number of scholarships for entering students. Scholarship students are expected to be particularly strong and positive leaders, excelling academically and representing the college well within the community.
- Loans Federal financial aid may be available to degree-seeking and certificate students who are enrolled at least half-time (two classes).
