Description: U-Mary began its first online degree cohort in 2005. The university's accredited accelerated online offerings now include programs leading to an MBA in management, an MBA in health care, and an MBA in accountancy. U-Mary's School of Accelerated and Distance Education also offers online bachelor's degree programs in management and accounting, bachelor's and master's degree programs in nursing and a Master of Project Management.

Accredidation: Semester based, year round. New terms begin in January, May and September

Calendar:

Credit Options: Transfer credits accepted from accredited institutions. Standardized tests accepted; CLEP, DANTES, and ACE approved college credit. Credit awarded for prior learning (work and life experience).

Platform: Robust learning platform featuring a powerful set of synchronous and asynchronous collaborative tools. Twenty four hour, seven day a week assistance for students and faculty is available via phone-based or email technical support.

  • Admin Requirements  Completed application (to include goal statement), Official transcripts, Two letters of reference. Non-refundable application and enrollment fee (cost varies), Resume. Be sure to check the individual programs for additional requirements.
  • Costs  $400 per undergrad credit; $415 per grad credit; plus $125 distance learning fee per course effective 8/20/2008.
  • Scholarships  Students are encouraged to work with the University's Financial Aid office for information on funding sources (scholarships, grants, loan forgiveness programs, etc.). Graduate study scholarships available to active duty military or National Guard students
  • Loans  Loans may be available. Applicants may apply by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
